Troubleshooting • Re: POE not working

I'l assume you have checked the basics:

• You are using ports 1-4 of the switch
• The cables are fully wired through correctly and work with another PoE device
• You are not exceeding the cabling run (test directly in the switch first)
• The PoE hat is connected correctly (not sure whose HAT you have)
• Your current equipment is not pulling the max power from the switch (i.e. unplug everything else)

Then my first step would be to try booting from an SD card using the PoE hat with nothing else plugged into the Pi.

Do you see any lights at the Pi end?
