Hello all,
We are attempting to connect a 7" 800X1280 MIPI DSI display panel to a CM4 mounted on a custom carrier board. The panel uses the ili9881c IC. We used the mainline panel-ili9881c driver and modified it to include the vendor-provided initialization sequence and timing parameters. We are using Bullseye and kernel version 6.1
The display comes up on boot and the lightdm desktop shows up without any obvious distortions. However, when any content is loaded either by pressing menu bar buttons or opening pictures or application windows, a vertical distortion pattern appears.
Pictures showing this behavior is attached.
We tried tweaking the timing parameter provided by the vendor, but that didn't lead to any improvement. Any suggestions will be appreciated!
Thanks.
