Raspberry Pi OS • Re: Pi OS 5.1 not working

Flashing using the new tool (pretty slick).

For other versions, you can simply drag the archive file to the tool, and it will set it up from there (which is how I'm flashing). Used to use Balana, but have to say I like the RPi tool...

If the 64 bit version works for you (and 5.1--which is the "default" now if you use the RPi flashing tool and it downloads from the web) - if that is working for your RP5 64 bit, then I probably have a defective Pi...

I've tried with multiple different SD cards, from multiple manufacturers, and they all exhibit the same behavior (kind of "stalls" on boot, and once it boots up, it hangs--for example you can't open a terminal or a browser window...and that's with a fresh flash with zero modifications. Especially a terminal window should be instantaneous)...

Can anyone else confirm that PiOS 5.1 (current version) is working for their RPI 5 without incident?
