Thought I'd go read the thread, seen as it hasn't been censored as it's still open for all to read in it's original form
the long side hdmi/power is the front,
the GPIO pins are at the back
and the USB/Ethernet are on the right hand side, which makes the power button to the right and near the front..

Boot Options idea is implemented now (if up to date)
Try pressing space during boot. ...something like that
You have that a bit wrong,One of the most significant changes that could simplify working with the Raspberry Pi 6 is placing the most important connectors on one side of the board—the front. Currently, the power and micro HDMI are on the side, while Ethernet and USB ports are at the front. The power button and status LED are at the back, creating an inconvenient layout.
