Raspberry Pi 400 • Re: Is there going to be a Pi 500?

So if they want to bring a Raspberry Pi 500 it should have a real good keyboard without present trouble.
That's a good point. Since the Pi 5 has improved so much since the Pi 4, to keep things balanced the keyboard needs to be real good too.
There has already been a bit of an evolution in keyboard quality during the lifetime of the Pi 400. I have had two Pi 400s - one had a very good keyboard, the other not so much. Unfortunately I had to return the one with the good keyboard due to impact damage which it has suffered in transit. The one with the iffy keyboard also ended up being unusable due to the power input becoming damaged quite easily, causing the power connection to be loose, making the device crash or power off. Both of those issues seemed to be fixed with the newer Pi 400, but I didn't really have it long enough to check the power connector. A future Pi 500 product would of course likely use some kind of USB C power input.
