Sorry, you're still wrong. The OS does boot even without any display connected at all (i.e. in headless mode) so it booting doesn't depend on getting EDID from anywhere.

So, what you're maybe trying to say is that there's something strange with the specific display setup you're using and nothing is displayed on the screen.

Also thanks for the lovely email correspondence, archived forever.
Your comments are always riddled with nonsense.
My archives go back to 1997... but SO WHAT?

You clearly never do your home work.
All your generalisations and assumptions are always glaringly the same.
I have to assume you never ran CM4.
Every time you connect a screen to HDMI it boots the OS. Otherwise zilch.

Yet,- I made it abundantly clear from the start I only use CM4 with onboard e-mmc.
This is because of the utterly miserable performance of even the best SD cards, and the fact CM4 are portable.
ie.
They can be removed from one host board and clipped into another with different hardware variants.
+
E-mmc runs at least 4x faster than SD card and is less prone to corruption.
CM4 also can run on many different host boards, inc a pci-e slot/nvrm-e/m.2 slot most of which you are evidently pretty clueless about, and assume have never used.

I will make a better survey of all the weird and wonderful things about your Android version for the Rpi4, when I get a little time.
Suffice to say it does nothing well that any banal smartphone can, with a one glaring omission:- NO SIM CARD.

Any Android OS without a SIM card + touch screen and access via 4g/5g is just an anachronism.

Linux can do all that reliably.
I have a 4g/LTE router capable of doing exactly that which will run no problem at all in a moving car off a 12V battery.
As for the more outrageous assertions you made, I will let others here be the judge of it.
It's clearly stated that licensing/EULA on the builds I'm sharing for free doesn't allow commercial use. I'm also available to hire for creating customized Android builds for commercial purposes.

I have every reason to believe you're already violating this agreement by using my releases for research and development of commercial product.
Except you're really not available for hire or for creating anything, and I never donate to anyone I have never met, never mind trust....apart from maybe sending all kinds of aid to Ukraine perhaps.
