Yes. I chose that OS in Imager - 32-bit Lite - it is now cached on my Windows PC
2. Should I wait 15 minutes before trying SSH?
I wait that long as the microSD card I am using is very slow (Fails diagnostics)
3. Are there any LED indicators showing when the Pi is ready for SSH connections?
