Does anyone know a USB device that could convert video to SDI ?

USB ? No I don't think so. We can find USB to HDMI or USB to SDI capture dongle but not the other way around.

However you could use HDMI out to a HDMI to SDI converter...
Those from Blackmagic are OK but I would rather recommend Decimator cross converters (way better than BMD)
