Troubleshooting • Re: New rpi5 + new official powersupply: "not capable" message

I have the same problems at the moment using the official UK RPi 5 27W PSU with no peripherals other than the official active heat sync.

Booting without an SD card confirms that it recognises the PSU as a RPi one.

It's running bookworm, Linux raspberrypi 6.1.0-rpi8-rpi-2712 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.1.73-1+rpt1 (2024-01-25) aarch64 GNU/Linux

I've just added 'usb_max_current_enable=1' to /boot/firmware/config.txt but still showed the message after booting.

Any ideas how to debug or fix this?
