Thanks. That MIP sounds like a good thing. Now I wonder why set the no-mip option.The MIP is a dedicated MSI(-X) target present in the 2712. It is hardwired to a number of GIC interrupts, and thus gives a faster interrupt response than you get with the Root Complex's built-in MSI target which requires a chained interrupt handler.
