Hi,
I came to know On Nov 22, a product change was made to the Pi 3B+, where the power management chip was updated from the MXL7704 to the Dialog DA9090.
However, when attempting to purchase a Raspberry Pi 3B+, I noticed that the images displayed on various websites show the board with the MXL7704 power module chip.
Could you please clarify how I can be certain that the Raspberry Pi 3B+ I receive will include the updated power management chip (DA9090)?
Additionally, I visited several offline stores that sell Raspberry Pi 3B+ boards, but I was not allowed to open the packaging to check whether the board inside features the old or new power management chip.
Is there any indication on the box or packaging that would help identify whether the Raspberry Pi 3B+ inside contains the old or new power management chip?
I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.
