I can see how someone might be misled, but I think the logo printed on the device belongs to BERRYBASE, not Raspberry Pi Ltd.

So probably NOT an 'official' RPLtd usb adapter. And I don't see anything in the specification that mentions SDXC.

Ah, you are absolutely right: it was exactly this adapter that was offered to me as "additional product" for the SDXC card, so I included it in my basket; I was completely unaware that this is NOT an official RPi product (the logo of berrybase is just too close to the RPi logo).

I will tell the supplier (Sertronics Ltd) about the problem. Pls pardon me for having posted this in the forum.
