No I did not change anything in my boot order.
I only installed PINN on a USB Drive to get the OSes installed on the NVME SSD, but once the installation was completed, I never managed to boot and got the
BOOT ERROR: code 45 - 'Fatal firmware error'
I raised following post earlier viewtopic.php?p=2269903#p2269903, but had no response so far, maybe because to specific, so the purpose of this current post in the forum is to reformulate my questionning to be sure the issue is with my NVME SSD, and not with the OS / setup I chose.
My NVME SSD is following:

So what about Gen 4... Is it compatible, stable, certified?

I've already gave my recommendation as:

if you want to install your OS on the NVMe just:
don't insert a uSD
connect keyboard/mouse/LAN
hold down SHIFT key when powering up
Network installation process will start (embedded RPI imager) and will let you select your OS.
