Dear expert technicians, I am currently facing a problem with the Picamera-rev1.3 camera with OV5647 sensor on my Raspberry Pi 5 running Ubuntu 24.04LTS. However, my Raspberry Pi 5 is unable to recognize the camera. I have previously performed hot plugging on the CSI interface, but it did not damage my Raspberry Pi. Please help me.

For diagnostic/troubleshooting purposes, I would propose running your RPi[5] board with the recommended and supported Raspberry Pi Operating System (RasPiOS). https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/op ... -systems/

You might need to do that in conjunction with the advice given here - What to do if your camera is not detected viewtopic.php?t=362707

If your camera, board and OS work together in that situation you will be in a position to follow the advice here - where to go to get Ubuntu support for the raspberry PI range of computers. - viewtopic.php?t=369919
