General discussion • Re: Do people screw their RPi5 into the official case?

First time Pi owner here. I bought the 5 with heat sync and official case.

I noticed the case at the bottom has holes that lined up with the mounting holes on the Pi.

I assumed the completionist thing to do would the to physically attach the Pi to the case. So I bought a set of screws and spacers. However, none of the screw threads on these pieces are long enough to go through the board, through the case, and into the nut.

Am I missing something here? Are there better packs I should buy? Do people even do this?
