At this point I'd recommend the ATX power supply you already have. There are tricks to get an ATX supply to turn on without needing a PC motherboard attached. On the other hand, most ATX supplies have enough capacity they can supply a PC motherboard along with a Pi 5.

Around here there are 12 Pi 4Bs, 4 Pi Zeros and an AMD-based PC all powered from the same ATX supply. That was an older ATX supply with 40A on the 5V rail

A newer power supply should still have enough 5V capacity for a PC and a Pi 5.
Yep bridge Pin - 8+7 or put in a switch on lines 8+7 before it meets the ATX power plug.

5V yes, 5amps though ?
