What is the road map here, to update the Official Pico SDK Installer to be the same as whatever you are doing for VS Code, or what ?

The roadmap here is to stop using the Windows Installer (hence the past tense), and recommend using the VS Code extension for getting started with Pico development across Windows, MacOS and Linux. It then provides a standard interface for Pico development across all platforms.

You MUST be kidding. I'm still getting PCBs designed for the RP2354 but no way is VSCode an acceptable development system for large scale multi-processor projects. I've got five RP2354s, an ESP32 and two flavours of STM32 devices and want software developed on one platform like I eventually managed to do with the RP2040.
