I got it to work! I read your famous boot.pdf and it helped a lot! I created a .desktop file with the following lines:Something odd I notice however is the first time i record when my pi boots up I hold down the record button for 2seconds until the red light turns on signalling that it started recording. But after I'm done recording that first time, it works perfectly.
