Why are you messing with config.txt? The display should have a valid EDID that describes the timings that are required.
If using the default "dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d" then the kernel drivers should just take the timings from there and use them. (The exception being odd horizontal timings as covered in https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... berry-pi-4)
Using the firmware drivers is largely deprecated, so don't expect much support for it.
Read the EDID back from the panel and post it here. "edid-decode /sys/class/drm/card1-HDMI-A-1/edid"
