General • Low current high sided switching with Pico

Hello.
I have been trying to work out the simplest way to switch 3 channels at +12v using a Pico without resorting to bulky relay boards.
I want to switch a couple of motorised ball valves which draw about 200ma, a very low current control signal at 12v (I would guess low 10s of ma) and do a fan speed control using PWM. The fan speed control I can do with a dual mosfet module if I have to but the other three circuits need to switch the +12v because the negatives are wired to a common -v bus. Can someone help me out with the simplest schematic of how to do this as so far, when I look at p channel mosfets etc and discussions I end up down a confused rabbit hole of disagreements about how to do it, voltage drops, whether one needs flyback diodes or not. I am not worried about millivolts of voltage drop as the 12v is nominal, running of a LiFePo battery which is more like 13.2v. The fan motor draws about 2 amps max. I would like to do it with through hole components, preferably without a heatsink. If anybody can do a rough sketch of something that will work that I can try I would be really grateful.
