All true, and sadly I have neitherIf you had an o-scope then you could probe the RUN and VBUS lines during these wakeup events to see if you get any unexpected glitches on either of them.
If you had a USB protocol analyzer then you could see if there is any difference in the USB traffic between a successful device connection and a failing wakeup one.
