How is the wiring to the DHT11 done?

DHT11 vcc -> rpi 5v
DHT11 GND -> rpi GND
DHT11 data -> rpi GPIO 17


BTW, The data shown in the dmesg is correct.
I tested the temperature and used a lighter, the temp increased. So my guess that the data in dmesg are correct. which means the wiring is correct and the device tree is correct. But there is something wrong, because I can't read the data as normal from the file, I only can read It from dmesg Image may be NSFW.
