First of all, you need to determine if the Pi hardware is working, so do these things:Hello,
I've just bought new raspberry pi 5 and I'm trying to boot it from micrso sd sandisk card (64 gb) but unsuccessful. It goes in boot mode restart and than stopped and nothing is happening. I also tried to boot it from bootable USB but unsuccessful. I made bootable sd card with centos 8 stream os on it and sam os on bootable USB. Please could you help me to solve this problem.
- Connect the Pi to a monitor, power on the monitor, do not[/b insert a uSDcard in the uSDcard reader, and then power on the Pi. What do you get on the monitor?
- Build a uSDcard with the latest version of RPios Lite. Connect the Pi to a monitor, power on the monitor, insert the uSDcard into the Pi reader, and then power on the Pi. What do you get on the monitor?
Once you know Pi hardware is working because the RPios system will startup, then you can begin playing with other software.
