what vid player ? in vlc -> video -> output - mmal for raspberry, codec - drm

kde on the rpi4 is okay, much, much better on rpi5![:lol:]( "Laughing")
it's much better to install the lite version then kde on top.raspberry makes a lot of mods to there setup you have to work around to switch desktops.
